Details of the Activity Week in early August, which will also be in local press soon, and fliers and posters are going out to schools in within 10 miles of Talybont next week. Please use the published details to ask for information/book your (your child’s) place.

We’ll be running a week of afternoon activities at YHA Danywenallt National Park Study Centre, Talybont (in the Brecon Beacons) from 5th-9th August. There will be activities running from 1-4pm each day, including Fire-lighting, Shelter-building, Tracking & Journeying, Camp Furniture Making and finally and bit of a Cook-up on the last day. It’s open to children aged 7-11, and will cost £5 per child. Children will need to wear old clothes (we plan to run whatever the weather!) and must be accompanied by an adult.
